When a panel partner runs your recruitment, the fieldwork numbers sit on their side. How many interviews are complete, which quota groups still need people, how long the video conversations actually run: you ask, they check, and the answer arrives a day later. Now Conveo gives you and your panel partner the same live view of fieldwork, so both sides work from the same numbers.
A silent walkthrough: participants finish their video conversations, and both sides of the fieldwork see it.
How it works
One view, two sides. For a study recruited through a panel partner, you and the partner look at the same fieldwork view.
Status and completes. See where fieldwork stands and how many interviews are complete against your target.
What each quota still needs. Every quota group shows how many participants it still needs, and which groups are already full.
Real interview length. The view shows the actual duration of completed interviews, so you see early whether the conversation runs as long as you planned.
Updates on both sides at once. When a participant completes an interview, you and your partner see the new numbers at the same moment.
A slow quota shows up while there is time to fix it
A quota group that fills slowly is easiest to rescue in the first days of fieldwork. With the same view on both sides, you and your partner can spot it together and agree what to do, such as widening the group or giving fieldwork more time. The decisions stay with you and your partner; the view makes sure you take them on current numbers.
Research teams and panel partners asked for it in five situations
These come from teams in consumer technology, food and drink, animal health, polling, innovation consulting, and from panel partners. We kept them anonymous.
Mid-field check-ins. Teams wanted to see how fieldwork was going while it ran, and asked for the view to keep updating until fieldwork ends.
Hard quotas falling short. Teams needed to know which quota groups still needed people, especially after removing interviews that did not qualify.
Interview length against the plan. Teams compared how long interviews actually ran with what they had told participants and budgeted for.
Partners tracking completions. Panel partners asked for reliable updates on completed interviews on their side.
Several markets in one wave. Teams and partners wanted progress per market when one country moves faster than another.
What this means for your research
You spend less time chasing fieldwork updates and more time acting on them. Your panel partner works from the same numbers, so a status call can start with what to do next.
The view reports progress. Filling a stubborn quota still takes your partner's panel and your decisions on the brief. The fieldwork screens in the videos on this page show an illustrative layout and illustrative numbers, with Norstat as the example partner. The participants in the short videos are real, from Conveo's public Foundations study; the participants in the narrated walkthrough are real, from a Conveo demo study.
