The first question in an analysis is often the hardest one. The interviews are in, the business questions are in the topic guide, and the chat box is empty. The prompts that get the most out of a study usually live with one or two experienced people. Talk to Your Data now opens with suggestions built around what your study set out to learn, next to prompts from Conveo's research team and the ones your team has saved.
A silent walkthrough, from the study's objectives to an answer with the participants who gave it.
How it works
Suggestions grouped by objective. Open Talk to Your Data on a study and the suggested questions are grouped by the objectives in your topic guide, informed by the data you collected.
Curated prompts next to them. Prompts written by Conveo's research team sit alongside the suggestions, including the concept idea generator and concept judge prompts we use in our own workshops.
Pick one, then make it yours. Selecting a suggestion fills the chat box. Review it, add your own angle and send it when it reads right.
Keep the prompts that work. Researchers can curate their own prompts next to the generated suggestions, so a question that worked once becomes a starting point for the rest of the team.
Every analysis starts from what the study is for
Because the suggestions follow your objectives, the first questions in the chat are the ones the study was designed to answer. Pick "which concept do people prefer, and why", tighten it to the audience you care about, and the answer comes back with the participants who said it. A newer team member starts from the same questions a senior researcher would ask, and the whole team can see which prompts are worth running again.
Research teams asked for it in five situations
These come from teams we work with in consumer goods, home appliances, consumer durables, travel and sporting goods, and from research agencies and consultancies. We kept them anonymous.
A first question for people new to analysis. Teams told us the hard part comes after fieldwork, when someone opens the results and asks where to start.
The basics covered every time. Concept and claims work needs the same core questions on every study, so results compare across rounds.
The team's own prompt library. Several teams already keep a list of prompts that work and wanted it inside the study, where everyone can use it.
Concept evaluation. Generating ideas and judging concepts against what participants said, with prompts tested in Conveo's own workshops.
Running what worked again. Teams asked for the prompts behind a deliverable they liked, so the next study could start from the same questions.
What this means for your research
Talk to Your Data meets you with the questions your study was built to answer, and the prompts your team trusts stay one click away. You still decide what to ask and how to read the answer. You spend less time on the blank box and more on what participants told you.
Analysis suggestions and curated prompts, in under three minutes
A narrated walkthrough of objective suggestions, curated prompts, editing before you send, team prompts and the five situations.
