The context that makes an analysis useful often lives in files: the topic guide, last wave's report, the team's segment definitions, the house report template. Until now you uploaded them again in every chat, and decks and spreadsheets were hard to bring in at all. Talk to Your Data now reads PowerPoint and Excel files, keeps every file of a study within reach, and gives your organization a shared set of files that anyone can reference with @.

A silent walkthrough, from the upload to an answer in your own terms.

How it works

  • Upload decks and spreadsheets. Add PowerPoint and Excel files next to your documents. Conveo parses their structure and detail, and you can preview what it read.

  • Files stay with the study. A file you upload in study design, like your topic guide, becomes a study file. So do the files Conveo creates for you, like the executive summary.

  • Reference them later. In any chat on that study, choose Add existing files, or type @ and pick the file from the list.

  • Share files across the organization. Admins upload common files in Settings, under Files: brand or style guidelines, study best practices, report templates. Everyone in the organization can @ them in their study chats.

Ask once, in your own terms

With the right file in the chat, the answer follows your team's language. Attach the segment definitions and the findings come back by segment. Attach the report template and the summary follows your structure. Nobody has to remember where a file lives or upload it a third time.

Research teams asked for it in five situations

These come from teams we work with in consumer goods, food and drink, consumer health, retail, apparel and travel, and from research agencies and an academic research center. We kept them anonymous.

  • Past research as context. Bring earlier reports and studies into the conversation so new findings build on what the team already knows.

  • Your own segmentation. Load the segment definitions you already use and read every study through them.

  • A report template that works. Upload a report the team liked and have new summaries follow its flow and layout.

  • The same structure, study after study. Reuse the guide and the analysis frame from one study or wave in the next.

  • House standards, set once. Keep brand guidelines and best practices in one place for the whole organization.

What this means for your research

Your files become part of the study, and your organization's standards become part of every chat. Researchers spend their time on the questions, while the context they need is one @ away.
