Images in Screener Questions, now live in Conveo
Screener questions in Conveo just got smarter. You can now add images directly into screener answer options, helping participants quickly recognise and select what applies to them.
This is especially useful for studies where visuals matter - such as concept testing, packaging research, product ownership screening, or brand identification.
Participants can identify what they use or recognise visually, allowing researchers to quickly qualify or screen out participants before they enter the interview.
Why it matters
Greater accuracy. Visuals remove ambiguity that written descriptions can introduce, especially for specific SKUs or pack designs
Better recall. Seeing a product triggers recognition more reliably than reading a name
Reduced false positives. Respondents are less likely to claim familiarity when shown the actual image
Decoy screening. Include the target image among alternatives to qualify the right participants without revealing the study focus
How it works
Create your screener question by describing your desired audience to the Study Design Assistant, or write the screener manually
Click Add stimulus on a screener option and upload your images following the on-platform instructions
Set qualification logic (qualify or disqualify) for each option
Use responses to segment participants or apply quotas
Add visual screeners in seconds and make sure the right participants enter your research
