A brand kit decides what every generated deck looks like: the palette, the typography, the logo on each slide, the imagery. Until now it was a black box. You uploaded your guidelines, waited, and hoped the result matched your brand. If a color came out wrong or the wrong logo landed on a dark slide, there was no way to see it, no way to correct it, and nothing to check before the kit was in use. The brand kit page now shows every part of the kit, lets you edit it, and puts it on sample slides first.

Short on time? Watch the 45-second version.

How it works

  • Choose the pages that describe your brand. Upload your guidelines and Conveo shows how many pages the document has. Most brand books carry far more than the kit needs, so select the pages that matter: click individual pages, shift-click a range, or select and deselect all. Then name the brand and create a draft.

  • Follow the build. The draft appears in the list and processes in the background. A status column tracks each step the agent takes and what it is working on, so you can see progress and spot the step where something went wrong instead of waiting on a result you cannot explain.

  • Edit any part of the kit. The draft page lays out the palette, typography, logos, imagery, brand rules and sample slides. Every section is editable in place. Change a color and check its contrast right there. Upload a licensed font, or pick one of the suggested built-in fonts and apply it. Replace a logo or upload a new one. Brand rules can be read as formatted text or as the markdown the deck agent actually reads, and edited in either view. If you would rather describe the change, Edit with AI proposes it for you to accept or reject.

  • Give each logo its role. Logos are grouped by role, and the deck agent uses the role to pick the right file for each slide. If the logo marked for dark backgrounds is not the one you want there, change the role.

  • Check it on sample slides. Apply an edit and the sample slides at the bottom of the page re-render with it, so you see the change on a slide rather than in a swatch. Not right? Change the selected pages and rerun, and the kit is rebuilt from the new selection.

  • Activate when it is right. Activating makes the kit the default for new decks, and a bar at the top of the overview shows which kit is active and how it looks in practice.

Research teams asked for this in four situations

These come from conversations with market research and healthcare research agencies, consumer health brands, media companies and in-house insights teams. We kept them anonymous.

  • Agency work delivered in the client's brand. Agencies asked whether a readout can carry their own or their client's branding instead of ours, on projects they run again and again.

  • Output that goes straight to stakeholders. In-house teams wanted the deck to look like their own team made it before it reaches a stakeholder audience.

  • Rules beyond color and type. Teams raised imagery as the part non-designers get wrong, and asked for rules about what to use on light, dark and color backgrounds. Those live in the imagery and brand rules sections.

  • A last check before it is sent. People wanted to see the result on a real slide and correct the one detail that was off, rather than re-uploading the document and hoping.

What this means for your research

A research report design that matches your brand stops being a reformatting job at the end of a project. You keep the parts of the brand guidelines that matter, correct what the AI read wrong, and see the result on slides before a single deck is generated with it.

Some limits to know. Brand documents go up to 50 MB each, and the kit is built from the pages you select, so a page you leave out is not read. Everything in the kit is AI-generated from your document: check the palette, the logo roles and the brand rules before you activate. Fonts are mapped to freely licensed equivalents unless you upload your own, so exact reproduction of proprietary typography is not guaranteed. Editing an active kit creates a new draft version, and asking for an edit does not change the active default until you activate that version. Existing brand kits keep working as they did, and existing decks keep the kit they were built with: changing the organization's active kit does not restyle them. Brand kits cover your visual identity. Slide layouts from a full deck template (header placement, body text, chart formats) are not read from the document.
