A participant says the line that sums up your study: the restaurant was cleaner than she expected, and that is why she came back. In a report, that line becomes a bullet. Stakeholders remember it when they see her say it. Cutting that moment into a clean clip, in the right order and with captions, used to be a job for a separate video tool, so the best moments often stayed in the transcript.
The quote reel editor, how it works and what it changes, no sound needed.
How it works
Pick the quotes. Select the quotes you saved during analysis and choose Create quote reel.
Arrange the story. Drag clips into the order that tells it best. Hide a clip to leave it out of playback without losing it.
Trim each clip. Move where each clip starts and ends, so it opens and closes on the words you want.
Preview, then render. Play the whole reel in the editor, then choose Save and Render. The video is generated in the background and is ready to download when it finishes.
Captions come with every reel
Captions follow what participants say, so the reel still works on mute in a meeting room or a chat thread. One toggle sets captions for the whole reel, and single clips can follow that setting or override it. Check the captions in playback before you share.
Research teams asked for it in five situations
These come from teams we work with in consumer goods, food and drink, beauty, retail and media. We kept them anonymous.
A short summary for leadership. A minute or two of consumers on the key findings, for stakeholders who will not read the full report.
Clips inside decks and reports. A rendered video sits in the presentation or report next to the finding it supports.
Proof in the consumer's own words. The consumer makes the point on camera, so the finding stands on its own.
Internal moments. Sales meetings, innovation workshops and brand team sessions where a room has to be convinced before it acts.
Tight cuts. A suggested clip runs long, and the team wants only the seconds that carry the point, with captions on.
What this means for your research
The video your stakeholders watch comes straight from the evidence you saved during analysis. There is no export step and no second tool, and anyone with editor access to the study can build a reel.
Two limits to know. A reel is a selection, so keep enough of each clip that the participant's meaning stays intact, and pair it with the written report when your audience needs the wider findings. Clips also show participants' faces and voices. The editor can blur the picture, but speech and captions can still identify someone, so check who the reel is for before you share it.
