Upload your video stimuli directly to Conveo with confidence. Your videos are now protected through signed URLs—a security technology that ensures only authorized participants can view your content.

How it works

• Upload videos as stimuli directly through the study design interface

• Videos are automatically secured with cryptographic tokens that prevent unauthorized access

• Participants view videos seamlessly during interviews without needing accounts or passwords

• Video URLs cannot be shared or accessed outside of active interview sessions

Why this matters

When testing confidential materials like unreleased products, marketing campaigns, or proprietary content, you need assurance that your videos won't be downloaded, shared, or accessed by unauthorized viewers. Device-Locked Interview Links: Protecting Your Confidential Concepts

Safeguard your most sensitive research concepts with device-locked interview links. When enabled, each interview link becomes tied to the specific device where the participant first opens it, preventing link sharing that could expose your confidential materials to unintended audiences.

How it works

• Enable "Require single device session" in your study's advanced settings

• When a participant opens their interview link, it automatically locks to their device

• If someone tries to access the same link from a different device, they'll be blocked

• Participants can still complete interviews across multiple sessions on their original device

Why this matters

When you're testing confidential concepts, the last thing you want is your interview links being shared on social media or forwarded to unauthorized viewers. Device-locking ensures that:

• Confidential stimuli stay confidential: Even if a participant attempts to share their link, it won't work on any other device

• Your intellectual property remains protected: Creative concepts, proprietary designs, and strategic materials can't leak through shared links

• You maintain complete control: Each participant sees only what you've authorized them to see, on the single device where they started

Getting Started

For Secure Video Uploads:

Simply upload your video files when creating stimuli in your study design. The security features are automatically applied—no additional configuration needed.

For Device-Locked Links:

Navigate to your study's Advanced Settings and enable "Require single device session" under the security options. This setting can be toggled on or off at any time and applies to all new interview sessions.

Both features work seamlessly with all existing Conveo functionality and require no changes to your current workflow. Your participants won't need to install software, create accounts, or take any special steps—the security happens transparently in the background while maintaining a smooth research experience.
