Emmie Yurchuk spent five years in pharmaceutical market strategy before Conveo, and was in front of clients from her first day here.

Emmie is from Toronto and has lived in Antwerp for seven years. She came to Conveo from Trilations, the Antwerp business insights consultancy, where she rose from analyst to senior consultant over five years and specialised in market strategy for the pharmaceutical sector: patient and healthcare professional journey studies, delivered as recommendations to senior executives across Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

She joined Conveo’s Antwerp office in June 2026 and was in client calls from day one. By day seven she was in a room in Switzerland full of clients asking questions, and by day twelve she was giving analysis training. Within her first months she had run a training programme for one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies and led discovery for a global pharmaceutical client on the strength of her pharma qual background.

Coming from research and agency consulting, the part of the job she cares about most is the relationship: being the person a client trusts with the question behind the brief.

She is in cooking school, a self-described big foodie, and always out trying new bars and restaurants.

So I'm Emmie. I'm from Toronto. I moved to Antwerp seven years ago, I currently live there, and I'm now working from the Antwerp office for Conveo.

From day one I was in client calls, learning and evolving super fast. That's been a wild ride, but also really awesome.

On my day seven, I was in Switzerland, in a huge room full of clients who were engaged and asking amazing questions and in awe of the platform. For me that was a really awesome experience, because it's not just us selling it. People are already buying into it without us having to do a lot of work to sell it. That's when I knew, oh yeah, this is the right place for me, and I'm super happy to be part of a team that is giving back to the clients.

One thing, especially coming from a research background and from consulting in an agency, is that relationship is really important. I had a training session last week, on my day 12. I was already giving analysis training, and it was with the champion at a client, and that was really impactful for me and such an energizing moment, because it made me want to keep exploring the platform and showing her all of the possibilities of what she can do.

I'm actually in cooking school, totally my thing. I'm a big foodie. I'm always out trying new bars and restaurants in Antwerp. I'm running: I'm going to do the Antwerp half in October. Good luck to me. I just did the 10 miles. It was not fun, but I'm really going to try. I'm not a runner, but I'm trying. And the gym, you'll find me there working hard.
