Charlotte Morelli was a 30 Under 30 nominee at Opinium, where Charles Allison was her client. Now she runs always-on research programs for some of Conveo’s biggest accounts.
Charlotte studied economics, with a minor in psychology, at Tulane, and joined the insights agency Opinium in New York a few months after graduating. She went in as an entry-level research analyst, taught herself the quantitative side she had found hard, and left as a mixed-methods research manager, nominated for Significant Insights’ global 30 Under 30 in 2025. Her line from that nomination still holds: she never stops learning, in method or in subject.
One of her clients at Opinium was Instacart, where her contact was Charles Allison. In January 2026 he messaged her on LinkedIn: he was now at Conveo, building a platform that made previously impossible research possible, and thought she would fit. One call later she knew she had to be part of it. When she joined the New York office it was her and one colleague in a giant coworking space; it is now a full office.
She partners with clients as a researcher and thought partner, and runs several StoryLines programs, the always-on kind: a continuous program for a global fragrance house on what people who love fragrance are talking about, and another for one of the largest consumer goods companies in the world. She works with Ferrara, the candy maker whose concept-testing story is on this site, and co-organised the research team’s product hackathon with the engineers in October 2026.
Growing up with five brothers, she says, was equal parts chaos and fun, which is also how she describes Conveo. Outside work she is a visual artist: she screen prints her art onto shirts and sells them.

My name is Charlotte Morelli. I'm a Research Impact Lead at Conveo. I partner with our clients as a researcher and thought partner to help them co-create innovative research on our platform. I've been with Conveo for eight months at this point, which is crazy. Time flies when you're having fun.
It's a really funny story how I got looped into Conveo. When I was at my previous agency, Opinium, Charles Allison, who is now one of our lead researchers at Conveo, was my client. He reached out to me via LinkedIn: hey, Charlotte, hope you're doing well. It's Charles. I am now at Conveo. We're building this platform. I think you'd be a really good fit. Let me know if you'd be interested in hearing more.
I was like, sure. And then we got on the call, and even just learning and hearing about what they were building, I was instantly so excited and knew I had to be a part of it.
So the New York office has grown so much since I joined. When I joined, end of February, it was just me and Laura in the office, and we were in this giant WeWork office and it was just us two. Now, so many of the new team members, I can't imagine the New York office without them. They just seem like such a fixture already.
Growing up with five brothers is so much fun, but also super chaotic, which I think is similar to Conveo, because the way I describe Conveo is it's equal parts chaos, equal parts fun. Definitely not afraid to speak up for myself, push back when needed. So we can draw many parallels.
When I wrap up work, I am a visual artist. So I screen print my art onto shirts and I sell them. I am artist and researcher.
I think someone who would thrive at Conveo is an energetic, creative self-starter. Not everything is super clear. Priorities are shifting every day. So if that is something that excites you, then you will thrive here. I think someone who embraces that rather than wants rigidity would do really well.
