Kelsey Allen-Niesen spent five years in consumer insights before a Kellogg MBA and a summer at Bain, and shipped a product improvement in her first 48 hours at Conveo.
Kelsey started at Kelton Global, the insights and strategy consultancy now part of Material, and spent three years there moving from analyst to associate director in qualitative and cultural insights research. She then led innovation consumer insights at Pharmavite, the vitamin and supplement maker, for two years, before going back to school for an MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, with a summer as an associate at Bain & Company.
She joined Conveo from California in October 2026 and was told she could spend her first week in Europe: London first, then Antwerp. The week was a product hackathon with the engineers, and on day one she helped ship an improvement to how studies route participants between questions, now live in the platform.
Her first impression of the team: brilliant, very quick, very smart and very biased towards action. Supportive, but go-get-them. The person who thrives here, in her words, is quick on their feet, hard-working and a lot of fun, and the job is fast-paced, with the best people in the industry, and high impact.
Her biggest takeaway from the first 48 hours was simple: she made the right choice.

Hi, I'm Kelsey. I'm a Research Impact Lead here on the Conveo team. I'm based in California, but was told that I had the opportunity to come out to Europe for my first week. We're in London first, we'll head to Antwerp next. I got the opportunity to kick off with a product hackathon.
The people here are brilliant. It's a combination of people who are very quick, very smart, and very biased towards action. It's very clear to me that the culture here is really supportive, but really go-get 'em.
The person who thrives at Conveo is quick on their feet, hardworking, but a lot of fun. It's clear that here people are putting in the hours to really deliver on the product and the value that we promise. We're having a great time doing it.
If there's anything I learned in my first 48 hours at Conveo, it's that this job is going to be fast-paced. It's going to be working with the best people in the industry, and it's going to be really high impact. I think my biggest takeaway so far is I made the right choice joining Conveo.
