What the executive summary is

An executive summary is a report that brings together the study’s main findings. Use it to orient readers before they explore individual questions or interview evidence. An executive summary report opened in a study, with an Executive Overview section and a numbered list of top findings, each stating a conclusion about the market tested Conveo now presents these summaries through Reports. Existing executive-summary bookmarks open the study’s legacy executive summary when one exists; otherwise they open the first available featured report or the Reports output list. Report names and sections depend on the study’s report configuration.

Prepare the analysis

Review completed interviews and their quality before starting analysis. Follow the study’s completion or analysis flow and resolve any billing or approval requirement shown there. The interview grid explains how to review collection progress. Processing runs in the background. A fixed 20–30 minute completion time is not guaranteed. Check the displayed report or analysis status before using the result.

Open and review the summary

Open the report listed in the study navigation, or find it in Outputs under reports. Check which study and report version you are reading. Review the research questions, findings, and available supporting charts or references. Follow evidence links where provided; a finding is not necessarily a link, and not every report contains the same metrics or follow-up section.

Explore and share findings

Interpretation and limitations

A generated summary is a synthesis of the available analysis, not a guarantee that every interview or possible finding is represented. Check sample sizes, missing data, and the base behind percentages before repeating a quantitative claim. Treat suggested explanations and follow-up questions as interpretations to assess. Adding interviews or changing the study does not prove that a previously generated report reflects the new data; review the report version and regenerate where appropriate.
