What Are Uploaded Studies?

Uploaded Studies let you bring your existing interview recordings into Conveo for AI-powered analysis. Instead of conducting new interviews through the platform, you can upload videos you’ve already recorded and get instant transcription, insights, and thematic analysis. Conveo automatically recognizes who’s speaking in your videos - identifying the interviewer and the participant - so you get properly formatted transcripts without manual tagging.

Supported Video Formats

You can upload most common video formats:
  • MP4, AVI, MOV
  • WMV, FLV, WebM, MKV
  • Maximum file size: 5GB

How It Works

  1. Upload your video: Select your interview language and upload your video file
  2. Automatic processing: Conveo transcribes the audio and identifies speakers
  3. Speaker recognition: The AI automatically detects which speaker is the interviewer and which is the participant
  4. Name extraction: If the participant introduces themselves, Conveo extracts their name
  5. Ready for analysis: Your uploaded interview appears in your study alongside any other interviews

Supported Languages

Uploaded Studies supports transcription in 39 languages, including:
  • English (US, GB)
  • Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal)
  • Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish

  • Greek, Turkish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian

  • Chinese (Simplified, Traditional, Hong Kong), Japanese, Korean

Pro Tips

  • Clear audio is key: The speaker recognition works best with clear audio where speakers don’t talk over each other
  • Introductions help: If participants introduce themselves by name at the start, Conveo will automatically extract their names
  • Check your language: Select the correct interview language before uploading for accurate transcription
